About Me

I am Dinah Longland.

I love and admire many different styles and techniques in art. My renewed enthusiasm for painting came when I began to produce some abstracts with colours to complement interior designs. My passion for skies, mountains and seascape soon became evident in my work.

My degree was in fashion, my first job was a shoe designer, then for many years my dressmaking business, Longland Couture, took the bulk of my time. But it was lovely every now and then, to put away the sewing machines and get out the paints. Commissions have included "Follow the Leader", a series of wine-related paintings, and some seascapes.
